churches

So with 12 more days before I leave for the A, I have been doing a little online research and looking at churches in Denver. This is a little scary for me because I have nothing to go by besides the websites, and i will only be spending a little time actually in denver. This means I have to find a church quickly. Hopevale was easy for me because I had Megan to introduce me to it, and before I went, she already thought I would like it. She was right. Now I am looking for a very similar church...nondenominational, contempory worship with biblical teaching. Sounds simple, but for me it is difficult. I guess this is what it means to be on your own...to make these kinds of decisions.

Finding a church is going to be a big thing for me throughout the year. AmeriCorps is going to present so many different opportunities and experiecse that I know I am going to need the consistance and refreshment that comes from the Word of God and a community of believers.
